Warranty 2XU SA

2XU Apparel and Wetsuits are covered for 12 months from purchase in South Africa. 2XU at their discretion can either replace or repair any defects that's occur in normal wear circumstances. 2XU will define what acceptable wear and tear is during normal usage. Customers are required to follow as a minimum the wetsuit care information contained in each wetsuit box and displayed below. Exposure of your wetsuits to prolonged heat / sunlight, bacteria, chlorine and abrasive surfaces are just a few things speed up product degradation and void any warranty. Materials such as fingernails, sharp objects can easily tear rubber and do not fall under warranty. 

NB: Any items purchased on daily clearance sites, purchased on any online clearance sales at 40% or more off retail and / or purchased during any Black November sales are excluded from any warranties. 

Defects:

  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. 2XU will repair or replace the product at their discretion.

Exclusions:

  • Damage from accidents, improper care (fingernail/finger tears or cuts in wetsuits), negligence, normal wear and tear, and chlorine-related deterioration.
  • Tears are caused by force and pressure being too high when you are putting the suit on or at speed removing it. We recommend Wetsuit Glue to seal it. But please do talk to us, we want to help and can have the suit repaired at your cost.

Obligations:

  • Should you want to log a warranty for apparel or wetsuits please email returns@2xu.co.za with the following information: product in question, Proof of Purchase, reason for warranty and 3 clear pictures of the warranty. Please include your contact number for ease of communication. 
  • Once 2XU receives the email we will reply within 48 hours for next steps. 
  • Should it be necessary to inspect the item further in person we will advise and it will be required for your to return the product to our offices for inspection. 
  • Should we agree to repair or replace your item, we will ship the item back to you at our cost. Any repair cost will be free of charge.
